SLCG CHANGES MEETING NIGHT AND VENUE
Like many organizations, since the Covid-19 pandemic, the SLCG has seen a sharp decline in attendance at in-person meetings and events. Thanks to the generosity of Merritt Co-work owner, Lance Nading, the SLCG has been able to hold hybrid meetings in their attractive conference room. Unfortunately, this space is too small to accommodate more than a dozen people. Sometimes in-person attendees have not been able to get a seat in the room. The adjacent sanctuary offers a much larger, more comfortable space, as well a big screen and wi-fi, but it has not been available on Wednesdays because it was used by one of the churches who rent the space on Sundays. In order to use this space and hopefully attract more in-person members, the SLCG Board has decided to change our meeting night from the second Wednesday of the month to the 3rd Tuesday of the month. This night was chosen because it was determined to have the fewest conflicts with other Northwest Denver meetings.
