Construction project on south playground, tennis courts and picnic facilities to start after Labor Day.

Project Scope:

The south playground and picnic facilities at Sloan’s Lake Park (at the intersection of West 17th Ave. and

Utica St.) have been redesigned with input from the surrounding community. Improvements to adjacent parking, landscape, and accessibility upgrades will also be included. The south tennis courts at Sloan’s Lake Park (at the intersection of West 17th Ave. and Raleigh St.) will be removed and replaced with a post-tensioned slab consisting of three tennis courts and four pickleball courts.
